Dan DeWitt was born and raised in Great Falls, MT and comes with over 25 years experience in the bar and restaurant industry. “My great grandparents, my grandparents, my parents, myself, my brother, for generations of my family has operated small businesses in Black Eagle and Great Falls,” says DeWitt. “I’m proud of the work ethic that I was taught at a young age and, more importantly, the desire to ‘keep reaching for the stars’ as Casey Kasem used to say.” DeWitt is no stranger to Casey Kasem’s famous slogan, while just a sophomore in high school, DeWitt began his career in radio at local station K99. “It’s my first love and always will be,” DeWitt says. ‘Danny D’ as he’s been known across the airwaves on radio stations across Montana since 1997, is also the owner of Montana’s Real Country 104.3FM and 1490AM; a country music radio station in Great Falls, MT [www.realcountrymt.com]. “It was literally a dream come true to be able to purchase KHTC a little over 2 years ago,” DeWitt says. “I love that radio station, it’s my baby, and you can’t imagine how incredibly proud it makes me feel when people tell me how much they love it and how the music just brings back memories and makes them feel good.” DeWitt continues, “my hope is that I can replicate that with this adventure - something people in the community can feel good about supporting, something that makes them feel good.”
